Snooper S3 Neo Speed Trap Detector Ultilising the very latest Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) and laser technology, Snooper have created the S3 neo, a cost effective GPS Safety Alert System which also includes a built-in 360 degree laser detector. The Snooper S3 neo has been specially designed this unit to help you drive safely within the confines of todays speed limits, by alerting you quickly and easily to the presence of Police speed traps, often located at Accident Blackspots, electronically indicating potentially dangerous and hazardous situations.
The geographical co-ordinates of all 'fixed' speed monitoring systems, schools and many officially designated accident 'hotspots' have been stored on a database that is constantly monitored and up-dated by our data collection team ensuringthat you are alerted to every potentially hazardous stretch of road or danger spot. Simply connect the S3 to a compatible PC and this concise database can be downloaded in a matter of minutes! The Snooper S3 then compares your position using it's built-in GPS antenna, with the position of every known fixed speed monitoring system and accident 'hotspot' alerting you both audibly and visualy via a speaker and a series of coloured LED's
Enigma Database GPS camera detection systems are only as good as the database of co-ordinates that are stored within them. That's why Snooper uses Enigma. Enigma consists of a dedicated team whose sole purpose is to research and manage a database of cameras and other points of interest not only in the UK, but across the rest of Europe as well. Please note however that the full European database is not available on all units at this time. Simple Installation The Snooper S3 is the most cost effective GPS Safety Alert System with built-in 360 degree laser detection available on the market! As both technologies are incorporated in the one unit, installation is simple. Mount the device in a suitable position on the dashboard or windscreen and connect it to the vehicles cigarette lighter socket with the power cable provided, then switch it on. It really is as simple as that. The Snooper S3 has been designed to alert you to Police Speed Monitoring Systems, Schools and Accident Blackspots through a combination of Audible and Visual alerts. A built-in piezo bleeper alerts you audibly whilst a series of bright coloured LED's alert you visually, indicating the type of location you are approaching. The volume of the alert can easily be adjusted and the pre-alert distance set from a minimum of 100m to a maximum of 500m.
Snooper S3-R As well as supplying the Snooper S3 we also stock the Snooper S3-R. The S3-R comes complete with the Snooper S100 RLD Radar/laser detector providing additional radar and laser protection. The Snooper S3 comes with laser as standard, but the S100 RLD is waterproof and can be mounted under the bonnet behind the grill of your vehicle for maximum protection plus maximum discretion.
Optional Remote Radar/Laser Detector The S3 can be further enhanced with the optional S100 RLD remote radar/laser detector. The S100 is a separate module that powers directly from the S3, and has been designed to detect all types of radar and laser monitoring systems. The S100 can be mounted on the vehicles dashboard or inside the windscreen using the suction cup bracket included. The S100 is also waterproof so can be mounted under the bonnet behind the grille, or within the intakes at the front of the vehicle for a discreet tailored installation.
